The Saints and Steelers remain scheduled to play at Stade de France as widespread protests raise questions about security
The NFL has confirmed it has no immediate plans to postpone or relocate its upcoming regular-season game between the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers at Stade de France, despite widespread and violent nationwide protests. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy stated that preparations remain on schedule and officials are coordinating closely with local French authorities on security matters.
Demonstrations over the cost of living and public school conditions have led to extensive property damage and roughly 2,000 arrests across France. However, Saints executive Greg Bensel confirmed the team plans to adhere to its original travel schedule, noting team personnel already in France have encountered no operational disruptions at the 80,000-capacity venue.
