The Hoops fringe man has fallen out of the picture after some lacklustre performances this season…

Celtic midfielder Luke McCowan has been frozen out of the squad by manager Martin O'Neill following a difficult run of form. The 28-year-old has not played since starting in a defeat to Rangers before the international break, missing out on matchday squads against Motherwell and Hearts.
Former Dundee manager Tony Docherty revealed he spoke with McCowan, stating the midfielder is enduring a tough time but backed him to overcome adversity. McCowan has struggled for minutes as O'Neill reintroduced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and gave increased playing time to Parma loanee Oliver Sorensen.
