Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich admitted he was surprised by Harry Kane's penalty miss during their 2-2 Der Klassiker draw against Borussia Dortmund. The dropped points proved costly for Bayern, but Kimmich backed the striker to convert future crucial spot kicks given his incredible career conversion record.
The miss came shortly after Kane was awarded the Ballon d'Or. Despite missing the penalty, Kane provided an assist and struck the crossbar with a second-half shot that could have sealed a victory for Bayern Munich.
