Lando Norris took pole position for the Formula 1 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, after a qualifying session that took two-and-a-half hours to complete due to heavy rainfall.

Lando Norris secured pole position for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix following a heavily disrupted qualifying session that lasted two-and-a-half hours due to rain. The McLaren driver set the fastest time in Q3 as wet and unpredictable conditions challenged the field at Interlagos.
Grid penalties altered the starting order behind Norris, dropping original second-place finisher George Russell to seventh and fourth-place Charles Leclerc to 14th. Consequently, Andrea Kimi Antonelli was elevated to second on the grid, with Liam Lawson claiming third place for Racing Bulls.
