F1 star on verge of team exit after startling admission

Esteban Ocon has admitted he is currently a free agent without a Formula 1 seat secured for the 2027 season. The 30-year-old French driver, currently in his second season with Haas, confirmed that he is evaluating his options outside the team while acknowledging certain ongoing discussions remain out of his control.

Ocon has scored three points this season compared to teammate Ollie Bearman's 18 points. Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu revealed he has five candidates under consideration for the 2027 lineup, with current Formula 2 contender Rafael Camara emerging as a leading prospect alongside Bearman.
