Gemma Lee, from Marton, has battled cancer for almost eight years and supplements her treatment with therapies which she believes are giving her more time

A fresh fundraising appeal has been launched to support cancer battler Gemma Lee, the wife of former Hartlepool United manager and Middlesbrough coach Graeme Lee. Gemma, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2019, requires funds to continue alternative therapies after existing financial resources were exhausted three months ago.
The appeal includes a GoFundMe page and an event on October 16 at Whinstone View featuring prizes from Middlesbrough Football Club. The push for funding comes ahead of a crucial scan in November, following a recent checkup that revealed enhancement that could indicate inflammation or disease progression.
