Racing Bulls F1 team principal Alan Permane says his team's 2027 driver line-up decision is due in "a couple of weeks" as the organisation decides between Liam Lawson and Nikola Tsolov for the final VCARB seat.Red Bull has a decision…

Racing Bulls team principal Alan Permane stated the team is not rushing its driver lineup decision for the 2027 Formula 1 season. A formal decision is expected in the coming weeks as the team weighs its options. With rookie Arvid Lindblad having already impressed during 2026, the remaining seat comes down to incumbent Liam Lawson and Formula 2 frontrunner Nikola Tsolov.
Permane acknowledged having three strong contenders for two seats, noting that speed, pace, and future potential remain the organization's main criteria. Lawson impressed while deputizing for Isack Hadjar earlier in 2026, but the team must balance retaining him against its primary role of developing fresh talent like Tsolov for eventual Red Bull Racing promotion.
