Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc faced travel disruption ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix after his private jet was forced to turn back to Malaysia. Leclerc explained that the aircraft missed its assigned landing window by roughly five minutes, requiring the plane to land in Malaysia while he completed the rest of the journey via a four-hour car ride.
Despite the travel setback, Leclerc went on to take third place in Saturday's sprint before finishing second in Sunday's Grand Prix behind race winner Max Verstappen. Leclerc noted that while Ferrari's upgrades provided assistance, additional car improvements are still needed for the team to consistently challenge at the front.
