The Story in 60 Seconds

Southampton goalkeeper Daniel Peretz is an injury doubt for the upcoming match against Portsmouth after withdrawing from the Israel national squad. The 26-year-old missed Israel's game against Kosovo due to a groin issue and will not participate in their remaining Nations League fixtures.

Peretz is returning to Southampton for treatment on what is reportedly a slight muscle strain rather than a tear. If Peretz is ruled out of the derby on October 11, head coach Tonda Eckert will need to choose between goalkeepers George Long and Aaron Ramsdale.
