Chelsea remain firmly interested in signing Bournemouth's Alex Scott but may need to wait until the end of the season to land their man.

Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to complete a permanent signing of Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott next summer. Xabi Alonso's side had multiple bids turned down in the previous summer transfer window, including an offer worth £60 million. With Bournemouth contract talks stalled, Chelsea are prepared to wait until the end of the season despite Scott being unlikely to move in the January transfer window.
Liverpool and Arsenal are also monitoring the 23-year-old England international, who impressed in a 7-0 Nations League win over Croatia. Chelsea are targeting Scott to reinforce their midfield following Enzo Fernandez's transfer to Manchester City.
