Chelsea are reportedly leading the race to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott in a potential permanent deal next summer, according to The Telegraph's Matt Law. The Blues previously submitted a bid exceeding £60m for Scott during the summer transfer window, but Bournemouth rejected the approach to retain the midfielder.
Following his recent debut for England, Scott could reportedly command a fee close to £100m if his current form continues.
