LeBron James is reportedly ready to make his Philadelphia 76ers preseason debut, marking another milestone since his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron James is set to make his preseason debut for the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, October 8, against the Brooklyn Nets. According to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, head coach Nick Nurse plans to start James alongside Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and VJ Edgecombe, with the starters likely seeing limited action during the first half.
The contest marks James' first game since ending his eight-year tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 41-year-old joined Philadelphia in July on a two-year, $8 million deal, leaving behind his son Bronny James in Los Angeles as the Lakers transition to building around Luka Doncic.
