Luka Doncic Makes Heartbreaking Admission Amid Ongoing Custody Battle

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic opened up about the emotional toll of his ongoing custody dispute with former fiancée Anamaria Goltes. In a Sports Illustrated interview, Doncic revealed that being separated from his two young daughters during the 2025-26 NBA season made the campaign extremely difficult, noting he only saw them for a handful of days between December and April.

Doncic has filed a petition in Slovenia under the Hague Convention seeking to bring his daughters to the United States during the season. Despite spending the summer in Slovenia, Doncic returned to Los Angeles alone for training camp as legal proceedings continue.
