Kevin Viveros back in focus after Villa’s previous transfer link

Aston Villa's past interest in striker Kevin Viveros has resurfaced following his impressive scoring form for Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense. Villa previously scouted the 26-year-old Colombia international last summer before ultimately prioritizing a move for Nicolas Jackson to lead their attack.

Viveros is currently the leading scorer in Brazil's Série A with 18 goals in 26 league matches. He remains under contract with Athletico Paranaense until 2027 with an option for an additional year, and there is currently no indication of fresh transfer talks between the clubs.
